Description

The preview reference pop-up window is triggered on hover and sometimes stays open when cursor moves away. The "eyeball" icon is replaced by an information 'i' icon that must be clicked to see the reference pop-up.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Ensure that List v3 is not enabled.

  2. Set the glide.ui.clickthrough.popup system property to true.

  3. Go to a record with a reference field, for example, a problem form.

  4. Hover over the "eyeball" icon.

    Although nothing should happen unless you click the icon, the preview pop-up window is triggered on hover and sometimes stays open even after the cursor is moved.

 

Workaround

Set the glide.ui.clickthrough.popup system property to false. This setting will use the default reference icon button that is included with the base platform.

To verify that it is working properly, note whether the icon is correctly displayed as the letter "i" instead of the "eyeball" icon.

If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In or Intended Fix Version fields to determine whether any versions have a planned or permanent fix.
