Description

In incident notifications, the state choices are always shown in English.

 

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Put any choice value in the contents of an email notification, for example, ${state} in incident table

  2. Switch to Japanese UI.

  3. Open Preview in that email notification and select an incident number.

    Note that the state displays the Japanese value.

  4. Trigger the email notification to send out an email.

    The email link will be copied into the activity log of that incident.

    You can see the state value is still in English. However, the Preview in the Email notification should be consistent with system settings instead of the user login setting.

 

Workaround

Although notification/email generation runs as the system user and emails are generated in the system default language, the Notification preview is run in the language of the logged-in user.
