The properties related to the Knowledge section sort field and sort direction are not honored on the Knowledge Browse page. The property is honored only when a search term is entered.
Steps to Reproduce
Navigate to Self-Service > Knowledge.
Select any knowledge base.
Note that the articles in the list are not in ascending/alphabetical order.
Under Self-Service Knowledge Administration, go to Properties.
Change the Knowledge section sort field setting to alphabetically and the Knowledge Base section sort direction to ascending.
Check the knowledge categories again.
Note that the articles are not sorted.
There is no known workaround for this issue. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In field to determine whether any versions have a permanent fix to this issue.
