How to make public Service Portal pages with SSO enabled

Overview

This process will allow you to create public pages within the Service Portal with SSO enabled. SSO can be enabled selectively for certain Service Portal pages only, based on whether the login widget is kept in the customized SP page. This should give you a better understanding of what Active, Primary, and Default attributes are for SP pages.

Procedure

- When an Identity provider is activated, it means that you can now use its IdP to login.

- When an Identity Provider is set to Default (only one IdP can do this at a time), enabling the 'Use external login' link on the login page, you are then prompted to optionally enter information in the popup box and click Submit. This will redirect your users to your ADFS login page where they can then login.

- When an Identity Provider is set to Primary, or Auto-Redirect (only one IdP can do this at a time), anytime you land on a page which is not public, or if you land on a page which has a login module, the system will automatically redirect you to your IdP login page. There will be no prompting box.

In order to switch to Default please follow these steps:

1 - Login as administrator
2 - Navigate to Multi-Provider SSO > Identity Providers
3 - Select your IdP record
4 - Check the Default Check box to enable
5 - Save

In order to enable Auto-Redirect please follow these steps:

1 - Login as administrator
2 - Navigate to Multi-Provider SSO > Identity Providers
3 - Select your IdP record
4 - Scroll down to the bottom of the page where the related links are
5 - Select the 'Set to auto redirect IdP' link
6 - Save
