Currency displayed in Service portal is different in IE and Edge browsers than in Chrome
Any ServiceNow supported releases
Since IE and Edge are Microsoft products they pickup the value from Windows language settings
These are the steps to change the language settings:
- In IE click the gear icon on the top right of the browser. When the drop-down menu appears, click on Internet Options to display the Internet Options dialog. Click on the General tab if it is not already selected
- Click on the button labelled Languages in the Appearance section at the bottom of the tab. In the Language Preference dialog, click on the Set Language Preferences button.
- Add English(or any other preferred language) to the list of installed languages and move it to the top of the list
- Restart the IE (close all browser windows and open the browser window again)
Depending on the setup of your machine the above steps might change the language for the Edge browser at the same time.
