Description

These issues occur on early Kingston instances only:


- List gauges show the wrong record/page count on personalized homepages.

- When two report widgets point to the same table, clicking Select All in one of them causes the other widget to select all records as well.

Steps to Reproduce

 

  1. Configure a user with ITIL role and Network and Service Desk groups.
  2. Impersonate the user and open a homepage by typing HomePage Admin > My Home in the filter navigation
  3. Click the Add Content button, find Gauges > Task > My Groups Work and add it to the page
  4. Notice the record/page count at the bottom of the list
  5. Click the Add Content button, find Gauges > Task > Unassigned Work and add it to the page
  6. Notice the both lists now show the same record/page count.

    When more than one list gauge is present, the first one's record/page count is applied to the rest as well.

 

  1. Configure a user with ITIL role and Network and Service Desk groups.
  2. Impersonate the user and switch from Dashboards to Homepages (if necessary).
  3. Click the Add Content button, find Gauges > Task > My Groups Work and add it to the page.
  4. Click the Add Content button, find Gauges > Task > Unassigned Work and add it to the page.
  5. Click Select all checkbox in one of the widgets.

    In both widgets all records are checked.

Workaround

This problem has been fixed in Kingston Patch 5. There is no known workaround applicable on earlier patches.
