This article details the steps on how to find which plugin(s) created which records.

Release

All versions

Resolution

  1. Log in as an admin
  2. Go to the target record (i.e. kb_view UI Page) and copy its sys_id
  3. Navigate to sys_metadata.list
  4. Expand the filter breadcrumb and search for Sys ID is "the sys_id of the one previously copied from step 2"
  5. From the same list configure the list to add in the "Package" field
  6. This "Package" field shows the plugin name that created this specific record (i.e. kb_view UI Page).

Alternately, the "Show XML" option on a record can also be used to find the "package" field information.
