Emails are not sent from a scheduled report when the report has errors like com.glideapp.report.charting_v2.datagen.pivot.TooManyCellsException
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a large report that has more cells that the sys_properties value of glide.pdf.max_row property
2. Schedule that report to be sent periodically
3. Execute that scheduled report
4. Check the event logs
5. You will see a scheduler.job.error event.
It will contain the message: com.glideapp.report.charting_v2.datagen.pivot.TooManyCellsException : Pivot table too big for export. Filter your data and try again.
We expect to be email sent. However, the email is not sent.
This problem was fixed in Jakarta Patch 10, Kingston Patch 6, and later releases.
To workaround the issue on earlier releases, increase the value of the system property
Alternatively, you can change the report type from Pivot to
Multilevel Pivot. Note this kind of report needs the activation of the
