The stage field in RITM with Waiting for Approval as its value no longer displays the approver's name ("Waiting for Approval by ...") for workflow driven renderer. This feature has been removed in the Jakarta redesign, which includes several fixes to Gating Approvals.

Steps to Reproduce

In an early Jakarta or Kingston instance:
  1. Create a sample workflow with approval activity, for example, approval by user.
  2. Make sure the workflow driven approach is used.
  3. Create a catalog item.
  4. Associate it to a sample workflow.
  5. Try it.

Observe, when the RITM is generated, the stage value shows as Waiting for Approval.

Please review the Fixed In section to determine the latest available patch your instance can be upgraded to.

Review the latest Workflow > Properties to control whether approvers are shown for Linear, Main Flow, and Workflow-Driven list renderers (only valid for List v2). Approvers are shown by default for Workflow-Driven renderers.

For example, the system property glide.workflow.renderer.show_approver_limit defines the max number of approvers to be displayed. If there are more approvers, the max -1 will be listed, followed by an ellipsis ("…").
