Description
Orphan Catalog tasks are being created by users which in fact is creating RITM's
Cause
A business rule is created on a custom table which is updating records on this table. These records are associated to Catalog tasks and there is a option to create a Catalog task for end users. As there are orphan catalog tasks being created, a new RITM is being created without any data.
Resolution
Disable the UI Action to create new catalog tasks and make sure there are no orphan catalog tasks created in the future.
