On IE11, if you open a Connect mini chat window, minimize it via the expand/collapse button (-), and then later expand it, the scrollbar on the chat window is dislocated and the left side of chat messages are cut off.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open an incident.

  2. Click the Follow button.

  3. Open the new chat created.

  4. Lower the new chat (click "-" icon in the header bar).

    Only the header of the chat should be kept visible.

  5. Add a new comment to the ticket.

    This triggers an update to the Connect conversation.

  6. Open the chat by clicking on the header of the chat.

    Note that the chat data is cut off at the left side and the scrollbar is appearing at the middle of the chat window.

  2. Initiate Connect Chat as an end user from one of the available queues.

  3. In another browser window in IE11, log in as or impersonate an agent user.

  4. Open the Connect mini window.

  5. Accept the incoming chat.

  6. Minimize the Connect mini chat window and then expand it.

    Notice the chat data is cut off at the left side, and the scrollbar is appearing at the middle of the chat window.
