Retiring an article results in duplicate updates to the knowledge record and duplicate audit records

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Knowledge > Create New to create a new article
  2. Publish the article
  3. Retire the published article, follow documentation on Retire Knowledge Article
  4. Right Click on the gray bar on the knowledge form
  5. Go to History > Calendar
  6. Notice in the history calendar, workflow_state is showing incorrect values like the attached screenshot
