Description

Including an ampersand in a Mid Server file script name breaks file synchronization of ecc_agent_script_file
The agent/script folder remains empty after MID Server initialization.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add an ampersand [&] in any MID Server file name.

  2. Restart the MID Server.

Note that no directories are listed in your agent/script folder.

Workaround

After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or near future releases. We do not make these decisions lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
The use of the ampersand character in a MID Server script file name is not supported in any current release.
