Description

An inactive (active false) UI Action with a duplicate Action Name will break the Active UI Action. For example, an inactive UI Action with the action name 'resolve_incident', will cause the active Resolve Incident UI Action to no longer work.

 

Steps to Reproduce

 

 

  1. Import the attached UI Action for resolve_incident into an OOB instance.

  2. Clear the instance cache.

  3. Go to an open incident record and click the Resolve Incident UI Action.

    Note that the incident is resolved.

  4. Import the UI Action into an OOB Jakarta instance.

  5. Clear the instance cache.

  6. Go to an open incident record and click the Resolve Incident UI Action.

    Note that the incident is NOT resolved.

 

Workaround

Change the Action Name of the active=false UI action to no longer match that of the active=true UI Action with the same name.
