Description

When creating a report, the filter criteria added on a multiple dataset is not retained when saving and reloading. This makes it difficult when needed to provide data for opened and closed tickets of a single month on the same report.

Steps to Reproduce

-Log in any demo instance as System Administrator
-Go to Reports View/Run
-Search for All Incidents by Location
-Switch to Legacy UI
-Go to Save--->Multiple Dataset
-Add extra data series to the chart
-Fill in the related fields
-Add filter condition:
Assignment group is Database
-Update
-Close the "Add extra data series" window
-Check that the graph is correctly displaying the secondary dataset information
-Go back to Multiple dataset
-See that the previously defined conditions under Add Filter Condition are not there.

Workaround

This issue only exists on the legacy UI. After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue and the risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address it any longer. We do not make these decisions lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Please use the new reporting UI in order to workaround this limitation.
