CMDB Dashboards not accessible after upgrading to Jakarta

Problem
After upgrading to Jakarta, users with the asset or itil role are unable to access the Configuration > CMDB Dashboard. 

 

Symptoms
After upgrading to Jakarta, users encounter an error message when they navigate to Configuration > CMDB Dashboard and select any of the following views:
  • CMDB View
    • CMDB Health 
    • Relationship Health
    • CMDB Health Dashboard Jobs
  • Service View
    • Service Health
    • CMDB Health Dashboard Jobs
  • Group View
    • Group Health
    • CMDB Health Dashboard Jobs

The error message states: "You do not have access to any dashboards. For more information, contact your system administrator".

 

Cause


The CMDB Dashboards configuration in Jakarta requires the system property glide.cms.enable.responsive_grid_layout to be set to true.  If this property is set to false, then the error message occurs.

 

Resolution


Enable responsive dashboards for your instance, including setting the system property glide.cms.enable.responsive_grid_layout to true. For more information, see the product documentation topic Enable responsive dashboards.

If setting this property does not resolve the issue, contact Customer Support to validate the CMDB dashboard configuration.
