Description

Creating new Catalog Client Script no longer able to select Catalog Item/s created from Item Designer on the Catalog Item reference field.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a catalog item via Item Designer and publish it.

    For more information, see the product documentation topic Service Catalog item designer.

  2. Create a new catalog client script for a catalog item.

    For more information, see the product documentation topic Create a catalog client script.

  3. Select an item from the Catalog Item reference field.

    Note that the item that was created from the Item Designer is not available.

 

 

Workaround

 

Replace the Reference qual value in the Dictionary entry of the catalog item (reference field).

  1. Go to https://<INSTANCE_NAME>.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sys_dictionary.do?sys_id=a6735d474f3122000b0ed6ef0310c7b7%26sysparm_view=advanced

  2. Change the Reference qual value from:
    javascript: new SNCCatalogUtil().getReferenceQualRlt()+'^sc_ic_item_stagingISEMPTY^NQsc_ic_item_stagingISNOTEMPTY^active=true^'+(new SNCCatalogUtil().getReferenceQualRlt())+'^EQ'

    to:
    javascript: new SNCCatalogUtil().getReferenceQualRlt()+'^sc_ic_item_stagingISEMPTY^NQsc_ic_item_stagingISNOTEMPTY^active=true^'+(new SNCCatalogUtil().getReferenceQualRlt())
