When using Service Portal in IE11, memory usage consistently increases whenever searches are executed due to the full page reload that is triggered.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Activate the Service Portal for Enterprise Service Management [com.glide.service-portal.esm] plugin.

For more information, see the documentation topic Activate a plugin.

  2. Using IE11, press F12 to load the developer tools (F12) and select the memory tab.

  3. Go to

  4. In the main search bar, search for "iphone" and let the results load.

  5. Search for "status" and let the results load.

  6. Search for "access" and let results load.

Note that the memory usage consistently increases, which will eventually crash the browser.

If you can upgrade, upgrade to a fixed version shown in the Fixed In field. Note that the fix for this issue does not completely remove memory consumption issues in Service Portal, but it slows the rate at which memory climbs in Internet Explorer 11.
