Description

Enable Domain Separation plugin first and go to System Properties > My Company to try to modify any field value, after click on Update button you will see "invalid update" error message.

Steps to Reproduce

 

1.Hop into OOB instance emphcheng.service-now.com
2.Go to System Properties > My Company
3.Modify any field value and click on Update button
4.Can observe the "invalid update" error message shown on the top

Workaround

  • Go to core_company.list
  • Make sure to have 'Primary' field in the list of fields to display
  • Group by 'Primary' field
  • Notice that there are more than one entries with 'true'
  • Make sure to have only one entry with 'true' (whichever is most appropriate for your instance).
