The itil user can only see the main comment (not the replies) but as soon as the itil user replies to any comment, they are able to see all replies for all comments in the article.

Steps to Reproduce


  1. Login as admin to instance
  2. Navigate to <instance>/$
  3. Navigate to Record Feeds and into any record 
  4. Verify that the Feed has Comments and Replies to those Comments
  5. Duplicate that browser’s tab
  6. Impersonate Itil user who has not replied to comment on the Record Feed, from step 3
  7. Navigate back into the first browser tab and refresh page
    Itil user is only able to see the Comments, but not the Replies to the Comments on the Feed
  8. Reply to any comment.
    Notice how all the replies to all the comments are now visible to Itil user
