Images are lost after importing a Word article through Knowledge portal.

Steps to Reproduce


  1. Navigate to Knowledge > Homepage.

  2. Click the Import Articles button.

  3. Click Click to select and and choose the Word document.

  4. At the prompt, identify the location of the article.

  5. Choose a Knowledge Base and click Import.

    Note that although no error message appears, images in the article do not appear.



Convert the embedded image in the Word file to PNG format and then import the document.

  1. In Word, right-click the image and choose Save As Picture from the context menu.

  2. Choose PNG format and save the picture.

  3. Substitute the PNG image for the existing image in the Word document.

  4. Save the Word document.

  5. Try the import again.

    The image should now appear in the imported document.
