The older activity formatter does not show sys_email entries correctly when sending or receiving.

Steps to Reproduce


  1. Log in to an instance with email provisioned and UI16 enabled.

    For more information, see the documentation topics Email setup and Activate UI16.

  2. Go to sc_req_item_li.do and create two new email notifications on sc_req_item: one with a condition where "Work Notes" changes and one with condition where "Additional comments" changes.

  3. Go to sys_properties_list.do and set the glide.ui16.live_forms.enabled system property to false, or switch to UI15.

  4. Create a new sc_req_item, change the state to "Work in progress" and put in an additional comment. Click Save.

  5. Wait for emails to be sent.

  6. Once the emails have been sent, reload the sc_req_item form.

    Note that instead of the activity formatting showing two emails sent at the same time, only one of the emails is shown.




Use UI16 or set the glide.ui16.live_forms.enabled system property to true.
