Templates cannot be removed when the instance is in the Japanese language.
Steps to Reproduce
Enable the I18N: Japanese Translations plugin.
For more information, see the product documentation topic Activate a plugin.
Go to kb_knowledge_list.do and open any existing KB article.
Create a new template.
For more information, see the product documentation topic Templates.
Change the language to Japanese.
Go back to the article and delete the template.
- in the template bar in the footer, click the More options (...) icon.
- In the list, click Edit next to the name of the template you created.
- Click the Delete button, and then click OK in the confirmation dialog box.
Note that the template still remains visible in the templates list and does not get deleted.
There is no workaround for this issue. If you can upgrade, review the Fixed In field to determine the versions that have a permanent fix.
