KB Summary by Now Assist

Description

Go To filter does not work with OR conditions.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Incident > Open.

  2. Click the filter icon to show the filters.

  3. Optional: Click the Pin icon to pin the filters to make them easier to see.

  4. Add an OR condition from the line below the breadcrumbs rather than from the filter field.

Example filter is [Active] [is] [true] OR [Closed] [on] [Today].

  5. Run the filter.

  6. Add criteria to the Go to field, for example, [Number] [is] [INC0000014].

  7. Press Enter to run the filter.

    The new condition is incorrectly:

[Active] [is] [true] OR [Closed] [on] [Today] AND [Number] [is] [INC0000014].

    rather than the correct filter:

[Active] [is] [true] AND [Number] [is] [INC0000014] OR [Closed] [on] [Today] AND [Number] [is] [INC0000014].
