Description

Catalog item subcategory is pushed to the right when another subcategory is not available for the user.

Steps to Reproduce

 

  1. Log in as maint.

  2. Navigate to Service Catalog > Catalog Definitions > Maintain Categories and search for Parent is Hardware .

  3. Set Laptops, Printers, and Tablets to inactive.

  4. Set the Order value of Mobile to 1.

    If the Order column is not visible, click the gear icon to use the slushbucket to add it.

  5. Set the Order value of Desktops to 2.

  6. Make the category available only for some users.

    1. Open the Desktops category record.

    2. Create a new record under the Available For related list.

    3. Set the following values:

      Name: Sydney Only
      Active: true
      Locations: Sydney

  7. Impersonate a non-admin user who is not located in Sydney.

  8. Open the catalog home page:

    https://<instance-name>.service-now.com/catalog_home.do?sysparm_view=catalog_default.

  9. Click Hardware.

    Note that in the Related Categories section, the Mobiles subcategory is pushed to the right rather than aligned to the left.
