Description

View rule does not apply for Android Native app, although it works for IOS Native app and Mobile browser UI.

Steps to Reproduce

 

  1. Log in to the instance.

  2. Navigate to System Administration > User and open a user record.

  3. Right-click in the header and choose Configuration > Form Layout.

  4. Create and add a new View "Mobile", move the Department field up to the top, and click Save.

  5. Change the password for "System administrator".

    You will use this password to log in from Mobile native app.

  6. Create a view rule: https://<instance-name>.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sysrule_view.do?sys_id=446348db4f0d72001f6eac118110c71e

    Name: Mobile
    Table: User[sys_user]
    View: Mobile

  7. On an Android device, log in as System administrator.

  8. Navigate to Incident > Active and open the demo incident INC0000055.

  9. Click "SAP Sales app is not accessible" (Short description) to open the incident page.

  10. Click the blue "i" information icon of the Caller field.

    Note that the Caller page is not the user Mobile view.

Workaround
