Description

Single Sign On enables authentication on ServiceNow, but when a user logs in using the Mobile App, authentication is being done locally. The mobile app supports only the Multi-Provider SSO plugin. (Note that Single Sign On works correctly on the mobile browser.)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Ensure that the SAML Single Sign On plugin is present and enabled.

For more information, see the documentation topic Activate a plugin.

  2. Make sure you have downloaded the mobile application.

  3. Log in to the mobile application.

Note that no option is provided to use external authentication.

Workaround

For the current session: Log in using the iOS browser.

For future sessions: Disable the SAML Single Sign On plugin and enable the Multi SSO plugin on the Mobile App. The External Login link to use for SSO login will then be displayed.
