Description

Using easy import to update/insert document ID type field into any table with a document ID field fails.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Ensure that the Knowledge Management V3 plugin is enabled.

For more information, see the product documentation topic Activate a plugin.

Once this plugin is enabled, the Knowledge Management (kb_category) table is accessible.

  2. Navigate to System Definition > Tables and go to the list view for the kb_category table.

  3. Use a condition filter that results in the list view showing a single record.

  4. Do the easy import process for an update template.

    1. Create a template with one record.

    2. On the template spreadsheet, change one field.

For example, change active from true to false.

  5. Import this spreadsheet back by choosing the file and clicking Upload.

    Error messages display.

Workaround

Use regular data source import rather than easy import.

For more information, see this product documentation topic: File type data sources
