Steps to Reproduce

Make sure that the Service Portal Plugin is activated.
For more information, see the product documentation topic Activate a plugin.

Navigate to Service Catalog > Catalog Definitions > Order Guides and select an order guide.
If you can access demo data, go to the order guide named New Hire.

In Related Links, go to Variable Sets and click Edit.
Note – If Variable Sets does not appear, choose Configure > Related Lists from the drop-down form menu icon (hamburger icon) and add it through the slushbucket.

Add the Standard Employee Questions variable set to the order guide.

Open the Standard Employee Questions variable set.

Create a two-container variable set.

Assign the following values to variable container 1:
Type: Container Start
Question: "This is a test"
Name: test_1
Order: 50 -
Assign the following values to variable container 2:
Type: Container End
Order: 500

Save the variable set.

Open the New Hire guide.

In Related Links, go to the Variables tab and click New.

Create a new variable with the following values:
Type: CheckBox
Order: 15
Question: "This is a test"
Name: checkbox_1 -
In Related Links, go to the Rule base tab and click New.

Create a new rule base with the following values and click Submit to save.
- In the If this condition is true field, set the condition [Checkbox_1] [is] [true].
- In the Include this item field, add any catalog item.

Navigate to Service Portal and open the New Hire order guide.
Note that the Included Items section below the order guide is not available.
Workaround
This issue is under review and will be resolved as part of the problem described in Known Error article KB0610332.
