List v3: New item created through a reference pop-up window is not auto-populated in the reference field.

Steps to Reproduce


  1. Log in to an instance and make sure that the List v3 plugin is enabled.

    For more information, see the product documentation topic Activate List v3.

  2. Navigate to Incident > Open and select an incident record.

  3. On the form, click the lookup (magnifying glass) icon of any reference field.

    For example, click the lookup icon for the Business Service reference field.

  4. When the lookup search window displays, click New to create a new record, provide a name, and click Submit.

    Once the new record is submitted, it redirects the user back to the record that was opened, but the reference field is still empty. The newly created record is not auto-populated as a reference.
