In Eureka, Knowledge Management search results included articles and attachments. In Fuji, Knowledge V3 no longer includes search results from attachments.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Word or text document containing the text unique_search_string.
  2. Save the document as a PDF.
  3. Log in to a Fuji instance.
  4. Create a knowledge article with the short description unique_search_string.
  5. Attach the PDF you created to the article.
  6. Publish the knowledge article.
  7. Navigate to Self Service > Knowledge.
  8. Search for the text unique_search_string.
    Note that the system only returns search results for the article, not the article and the attachment.


There is no known workaround for this issue. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In field below to determine the versions that have a permanent fix.
