Personalizing the Knowledge article form by removing fields causes the fields instead to become read-only. When personalizing the form again, you cannot select nor add back fields to the form.

Steps to Reproduce


In a Geneva Patch 4 instance:

  1. Access any Knowledge article form.

  2. Click the gear icon, and in the Personalize form drop-down menu, unselect any field.

  3. Click Save or Update to save the form.

    The system makes the fields you removed read-only.

  4. Go to the same Knowledge article form and click the gear icon again.

    Note that you cannot select the field that you just unselected because it is now read-only.


There is no known workaround for this issue.
