Description
The characters "\n" in a user ID prevents the Assigned to field from being populated in the Help the Help Desk application. An example of a user name that causes this issue is "abc\nsmith."
Steps to Reproduce
- Set up a User ID that contains \n.
For example: "abc\nsmith." - Run Help the Help Desk using this account.
- Open the record for the computer.
The Assigned to field is empty. It should contain the user name.
Workaround
Do not use \n in user names.
