Steps to Reproduce
- Do one of the following:
- Shut down the ESX host
- Put the server in maintenance mode
- Run a vCenter Discovery.
Note that the Input value for VMWarevCenterProbe in the ECC Queue shows this error:
TypeError: Cannot convert null to an object
- Reboot the ESX host.
- Run vCenter Discovery again.
Note: In versions listed in the Fixed In section below, Discovery will still publish the error message if it encounters a vCenter component that is unresponsive, but will skip that component and continue the scan.
