Description

On-Call Scheduling > Schedule Report options show translation issues when using Japanese, German, or other languages containing special characters, which are not interpreted properly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Login as administrator.
  2. Activate the Japanese I18N plugin.
  3. Activate the On-Call Scheduling plugin.
  4. Go to On-Call Scheduling and open a new page Schedule report in another tab or window.
  5. Switch the session language to Japanese.
  6. Refresh the Schedule report opened in the other tab.

Observe all the foreign special characters are not interpreted and shown correctly.

Workaround

After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or near future releases. We do not make this decision lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
