Journal field content is lost when switching CI class.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a record in task table.
  2. Ensure that Task Type is a visible field.
  3. In Task Type, use the drop-down menu to change the value.
  4. Add text to Work Notes.
  5. Click Save.
    Note that the Work Notes entry is lost.


There is no known workaround for this issue. ServiceNow has decided to not address this issue in a future release.
