Images don't appear when pasted into the Knowledge article editor 

 

Overview
When trying to paste an image into a Knolwedge article (for example, from MS Word documents), images sometimes either do not appear at all or appear as long code strings.

 

Solutions
  • The best practice is to migrate to Knowledge Management v3 and use the Import feature described in the product documentation topic Import a Word document to a knowledge base. Images within MS Word documents are imported as attachments.

  • If for some reason you cannot migrate to Knowledge Management v3, try using the image tool in the HTML editor to upload images separately as attachments rather than as part of the file.
