Users who have not yet migrated to Knowledge v3 and are using legacy Knowledge v2 need the ability to configure the visibility of the Import/import Articles button. Because Knowledge v2 does not use User Criteria, users are not prevented from selecting the Knowledge Base. The 'glide.knowman.import.hide_import_functionality' property was added to control the visibility of the Import Articles button.

Steps to Reproduce


  1. Impersonate Beth Anglin or any user.

  2. Navigate to Self-Service > Knowledge.

    Note that the Import Articles button is visible.



Create at least one v3 knowledge base that can either grant or deny canContribute access to users.
