Description

With List v3, the UI context menu will include the Show Visual Task Board even if it was deactivated in the instance.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Verify from System Definition > Plugins that List v3 is active on the instance.

  2. Remove Show Visual Task Board from the UI context menu:

    1. Navigate to System UI > UI Context Menus.
    2. In the Active column, double-click true and change the value to false.
  3. Navigate to Incident > Open and right-click the list header.

Note that Show Visual Task Board still appears in the context menu.

Workaround

List v3 is now deprecated and no longer supported. We advise using List v2 and not activating the List v3 plugin. A more performant and feature complete solution is under development a new list component has been introduced in limited form with the Agent Workspace in London.

In order to workaround the issue, confirm the List v2 plugin is active from  System Definition > Plugins, and disable the List v3 properties:

  1. Navigate to System Properties > List v3
  2. Set Enable List V3 to Unchecked
  3. Clear the instance cache

Navigate to Incident > Open and right-click the list header, the Show Visual Task Board should no longer appear in the context menu.
