Unable to remove the Publish checkbox on the knowledge import pop-up, which allows users to bypass any review process customers have set up. The customer can remove the user's Can Contribute access, but that choice prevents importing entirely.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Self-Service > Knowledge.

  2. Click the Import action.

  3. Select any file to import.

    Note that the Publish checkbox, which allows users to automatically publish the file they are importing, is visible.




In Geneva Patch 7 and Helsinki Patch 1, a new property, glide.knowman.import.show_publish_checkbox, enables you to indicate whether the Publish checkbox should be available when importing to v3 knowledge bases.

  1. Navigate to Knowledge > Administration > Properties.

  2. To prevent the Publish checkbox from appearing, click the Yes|No checkbox for Show publish checkbox on the knowledge import pop-up.
