When this condition exists and the user clicks the knowledge category with more than 160 subcategories, the page appears to be loading but never finishes.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Make sure a category (for example, ABC) has more than 160 total subcategories.
  2. Go to $knowledge.do and then to the knowledge base containing category ABC.
  3. On the Knowledge Browse page, click the category ABC.

No results are loaded and it keeps attempting to load. The console log shows that a 400 bad request is thrown.

Reorganize your categories or knowledge bases such that each category tree has fewer than 160 nested categories.
