There are translation issues when using language special characters such as the following in the user name:

Æ, Ø ,Ä/ä, Ö/ö, Ü/ü, ß

When the UI16 interface is enabled, there is an round icon next to the logged in user's name that should show the user initials if the user does not have a photo in their collaboration profile. The round icon should be the first letter of the first and last name.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in as an admin.
  2. Ensure that UI16 is enabled.
  3. Navigate to User Administration > Users.
  4. Click New.
  5. In the First name and Last name fields, add text that starts with a language special character, such as: Æ, Ø ,Ä/ä, Ö/ö, Ü/ü, ß.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Impersonate the new user.
Note that the round icon showing the initials does not use the first character (the special character), it uses the second character.
