Chat actions do not show their translations in the chat interface. The records are translated via the sys_translated field, and translations are created OOB for the default chat action, but only display in English in the chat interface.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install Chat and any language on the instance.
- Modify the Create Incident from Chat chat_action record to remove the condition script, so the action will always appear.
- Link to Chat Action: nav_to.do?uri=chat_actions.do?sys_id=f3d134d20a0a0bb66bcb1407fe6db8c0
Note that the chat action already has a sys_translated record, and will appear in an alternate language when viewing the record.
- Switch to the language installed in step 1, open a new Chat Room and click the gear icon to display the chat actions.
Note that the chat action remains in English even when other languages are selected.
There is no workaround for this Known Error at this time.
