On an incident form or any form that features the contextual search results formatter, when the config records (such as table config for the incident table) are deactivated for contextual search, an error message is displayed.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in as admin and navigate to Contextual Search > Table Configuration.

  2. Select the incident table.

  3. Uncheck the Active check box.

  4. Click Update.

  5. Navigate to Incident > Create New.

    The error message "Search Service Error: There is no table configuration defined [Create New]" is displayed on the screen.



Either remove the contextual search results formatter from the form or change the configuration to make contextual search results active for the table.
