If you add a reference variable to a catalog item and specify the tree_picker attribute, the reference qualifier is not applied when executing the reference lookup from a requested item.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new table with two additional fields:
    • name (string)
    • parent (reference to table you are creating)
  2. Populate the table with some data:
    • Name - Parent
    • Steve
    • Bob - Steve
    • Lucy - Steve
    • Charles - Steve
    • George
    • Xander - George
    • Larry - George
    • Peter - George
  3. Maintain the Access catalog item.
  4. Add a new reference variable to the Access item.
    • Specify the tree_picker=true attribute
    • Specify a simple reference qualifier of parent IS Steve
  5. Order the Access item from the catalog.
  6. Use the reference variable to select one of the items.
You should only be able to select from the choices Bob, Lucy, and Charles.
  7. View the generated RITM.
  8. Use the reference variable to select one of the items.
Note that all choices in the table are displayed.
