The Activity Formatter always displays currency and price fields converted into the user's session locale. The converted values overwrite the values in the history log that were entered in the original currency.

The issue does not occur when using single currency:
glide.i18n.single_currency true
glide.i18n.single_currency.code USD (or any other currency the issue is not reproducible)

The issue is reproducible when multiple currency is set and the currency is anything other than USD:
glide.i18n.single_currency false
glide.i18n.single_currency.code USD (or any other currency the issue is reproducible. If I set this property to GBP, for example, the activity formatter will display in USD)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to a base system on any instance with multiple currencies.
  2. Navigate to Change > Create New.
  3. Right-click on the form header and navigate to Personalize > Form Layout.
  4. Under Form view and section, click New and then create two new sections with the following fields:
    • Name: Test Currency
    • Type: Currency 
    • Name: Test Price
    • Type: Price
  5. Add the two sections to the form and click Save.
  6. Customize Activity 
  7. Customize the Activity Formatter to show the new fields:
    • Open a change record.
    • Under Activity, right-click and select Personalize Activities.
    • Add Test Currency and Test Price to the Selected slushbucket.
    • Click Save.
  8. Navigate to Change > Create New.
  9. Add a value for Test Price and Test Currency, choosing a different currency than USD (for example, 1.00 £).

Actual behavior: The values in activity formatter are displaying in USD. The user-specified currency is ignored when entering values for test currency and test price fields.

Expected behavior: The values in the activity formatter should display in the user-specified  currency (for example, 1.00 £).


This problem is being investigated. No workaround is available at this time for multi-currency instances.
