Description

When the CI Relations field is added to the Configuration > Servers > Windows server form layout inside a tab (there should be multiple tabs present with other data), the Related items header may or may not display based on the state of Tabbed forms. If the Tabbed forms state is on, then the Related items header disappears. If the Tabbed forms state is off, the Related items header appears.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Servers > Windows.
  2. Click a server Name to open a server record.
  3. Right-click in the header bar and select Configure > Form Layout.
  4. Under Form view and section, in the Section field, click on any tabbed section under the main form Windows Server.
  5. In Available list, select CI Relations and add it to the Selected list. (Note: The available fields are not in alphabetical order.)
  6. Ensure that there are at least 2 tabbed sections tabs on this form.
  7. Ensure that you see the Related Items header and related data.
  8. Ensure that Tabbed forms (found in the settings icon) is ON/OFF.
Note that the Related Items header is now in tandem with the Tabbed forms state.

Workaround

Configure the layout of the Windows Server form.

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Servers > Windows.
  2. Click a server Name to open a server record.
  3. Right-click in the header bar and select Configure > Form Layout.
  4. In Available list, select CI Relations.
  5. Add the field to the Selected list, into a default main section (outside of tabs and sub-sections).
This ensures that the field remains in place if Tabbed forms is on or off.
