Description

Since Geneva UI16, the right-click popup menu options are not available for the Additional Comments, Work Notes, and Activity fields on task-inherited forms (including Incident).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to an instance with UI16 enabled.
  2. Create a new Incident.
  3. Before submitting the form, right-click on the Additional Comments field.
  4. Confirm that the context menu options are available.
  5. Save the form.
  6. Repeat steps 3 and 4.
The context menu options are no longer available.
  7. Change the UI to UI15.
  8. Repeat steps 3 and 4.
The context menu options are available.

Workaround

After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or near future releases. We do not make these decisions lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

As a workaround, right click the form header, select Configure All => Dictionary , search for and display the necessary field.  Alternatively, right click the necessary fields from a create form instead of an update form.
