Description

When creating an HTML field, or creating a string field and later changing the field type to HTML, the content viewed in a list shows raw HTML with tags.

 

Steps to Reproduce

 

  1. Navigate to Problem > Create New.
  2. Right-click in the header bar and select Configure > Form Layout.
  3. In Create a new field, add a new String field with a field length of Extra Large (4000).
  4. Click Add.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Navigate to Problem > Open
  7. Click on a problem Number to open a record.
  8. Type a value in the new field you created in step 3.
  9. Right-click in the header bar and click Save.
  10. Right-click on the new field label and select Configure Dictionary.
  11. Change the Type to HTML.
  12. Click Update.
  13. Open a problem record.
  14. Type a value in the new field you created in step 3.
  15. Right-click in the header bar and click Save.
  16. Navigate to Problem > All.
    The new field is showing HTML tags.
