When first viewed in the catalog, a Service Catalog item that has a multiple-choice variable (radio button) that is set to 'Do not select the first choice' will have selections (as expected).

When the item is added to the cart or ordered directly, however, the variable takes the value of the first option. The value should be empty.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Activate the Sample Item catalog item.
  2. Modify the multiple-choice variable -- select Do not select the first choice.
  3. On the catalog item, click Try it to view it in the catalog. You will see neither 'Nuts' nor 'Soup' selected.
  4. Click Add to cart.
  5. Edit Cart: See that the value for the 'Multiple Choice' is empty.
  6. Checkout: At this point, the sc_item_option record is created with the 'Nuts' value, but the value should be empty.

There is a work around to use select box with none value.
